2024 Survey now live!

We are calling on all members of the audio industry to complete our pay survey to enable greater pay transparency within the industry.

In 2020, UKAN surveyed its members to push pay transparency. In 2023, we opened our UKAN State Of The Audio Industry Survey.

Announced on stage at The Podcast Show, in comparison to 2020, wages in 2023 have gone UP for men and white people on average, and DOWN for women and BIPOC industry members.

Our key takeaway is:

If you’re not white, or a man, you’re earning less than you were three years ago.

This section are our comparison data. This is currently in image form and will be rapidly updated to plain text for accessibility purposes. The sample size was of 209 submissions, independently verified.

There were 118 entries from women, 73 entries from men and 6 entries from non-binary humans. They were recruited from UKAN members and twitter followers on @UKAudioNetwork.
